ADAU Headquarters

ADAU account in your heritage with two very different but adjoining buildings strongly embedded in the urban memory of the Old City, in the first place, occupies the building of the former Banco Del Plata, the architect Antonio Bonet.

The annex building is the headquarters of the institution; it is a building of the first decade of the twentieth century. Our study was the winner of a competition to recycle and extend private Headquarters, adapting the site to new needs and technologies.

The intervention aims to recover and enhance the central courtyard with skylight, characteristic of the type, making it the heart of the project. The growth of a plant is removed from the front line so as not to alter the presence of the building to the street Zabala, and done in a contemporary way to generate dialogue between two distant than a century architectures.
