The showroom is placed in a floor-plan of 210 m2, located in the bow of the second level that occupies the basement of tower 3 of WTC. According to this, it was projected, taking into account its three luminous facades that dialogue with Av. Luis Alberto de Herrera, 26 de Marzo street and the own glazed prow of the corner.

The showroom interacts directly both at the pedestrian level and with the transit of vehicles at the intersection of the mentioned streets; therefore, a luminous “button” is designed against the facade with the emblem of the firm achieving that link with the exterior exists.
Taking into account the virtue offered by the unit, an open floor plan was designed to make the most of natural lighting and thus be able to immediately visualize all the products Kalpakian offers.
The careful choice of the endless finishes of each element offered by the supplier/client, both to what refers to the textile, as their color and / or different configuration options offered by the products (carpets, vinyl floors, vinyl coatings, mobile equipment, luminaires, etc.) was one of the great obstacles that our studio went through.
The combination of these elements was studied in conjunction with the client / provider; Well, although the 210m2 showroom has a considerable size, the amount of equipment, coatings, finishes and accessories that it wanted to be exposed was disproportionate to the m2 offered by the plant.
We believe that the decisive tool that we managed to solve the complexity with the architectural proposal, conjugated with a attractive design, was generating a “playful space”, of course, with a careful choice of both the colors of equipment that are shown, as the finishes of each area in the pavement, coatings and luminaires; being able to wisely combine all the functions required by the company to operate correctly and achieve a pleasant space for both the operator and the visitors.
While the operational spaces of what would be the “route” to be observed are well defined, each corner is designed to be an example when offering products, from a vinyl siding wall, to workstations.
